Kevin and Ann Young

Kevin B. Young started in photography in Junior high school. After high school Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Navy and became a Photographer's Mate. Ten years later Kevin retired from the U.S. Navy, but continued taking pictures. He refined his training and developed new skills. Kevin began taking family photos for co-worker and then photographed a couple of weddings. He was hooked; he knew running a small photography business was his future. Through a couple of events Kevin was introduced to the world of charity, The Children’s Miracle Network in Spokane Washington recruited Kevin to take pictures of several fundraising events.
Kevin continued to take photos for family and friends until 2004 when he decided to slowly started to branch out and make his dream a reality. For the next couple of years Kevin photographed Families, seniors, and more weddings.
In 2006 Kevin was asked to Chair the Saint Alphonsus Foundation’s Festival of Trees Photography committee. Kevin graciously accepted the position and began an ongoing relationship with the Saint Alphonsus Foundation. To this date KBY Photo continues to Support the Saint Alphonsus Foundation.
Ann came into Kevin’s Life the Summer of 2007 and fell in love with the photography business. Ann has a desire to not only take photographs, but plan events such as weddings and parties. Ann has years of experience in photography and business. As the Business owner, Ann Will go out with Kevin and assist him with capturing the precious moments. She acts as a second photographer in the field.
